The Steinbauer Power Module is now available in North America, it is very easy to install and can be applied to nearly all makes and models of turbo diesel vehicles.

Performance Testing - by the manufacturer and by Diesel owners locally has confirmed the Steinbauer Power Module's ability to achieve 20% more power and 20% more torque while still maintaining safe emission levels while conserving fuel. The Power Module is achieving an even better response at lower RPM’s and we are seeing strong mid range acceleration. With 20% more power and 20% more torque - the figures speak for themselves! With more response at even low rpm and stronger mid range acceleration, overtaking for example, becomes not only quicker, but safer too.

Real Timing – the actual beginning and end of injection timing - is not achieved by any "chip" available for diesel engines today. It's misleading to suggest so. With Steinbauer, duration is achieved by adding pulse width to a signal, i.e. at end of injection. This is not changing timing. That's best left to the factory ECU.

Achieves a safe increase in performance - Additionally & uniquely, the Steinbauer modules have the ability to reduce the performance enhancement progressively by 1% per second back to a predetermined amount. This prevents potentially dangerous exhaust temperatures being reached completely independently of driver input. Once again, this is unique to Steinbauer.

Individually Mapped - Every Steinbauer module is individually mapped to maximize the performance of every engine variant. Where and when necessary the mapping can be easily changed if required – for example, when fitting a larger exhaust system.

CertificationTUV certification* - Many Steinbauer performance modules carry TUV certification. TUV is an internationally recognized, independent standards certification agency. TUV certification
provides full assurance of the quality and performance of the product to which it is attached. This is a major factor which separates the Steinbauer product from all other products available in the U.S. (*TUV certification involves rigorous testing of the applications for which the component is designed. It includes verification that the device satisfies the strictest European regulations for the industry in which the component was designed for and ensures the component specifications are stated correctly. Periodic retesting of the component is required to maintain TUV approval and the
certification is without question the most comprehensive testing any product would undergo. In the case of a tuning module, TUV approval means the product complies with legal exhaust-emissions standards.

TUV testing of a tuning module includes:

1. Verifying the use of quality materials in the manufacture of an automotive product.
2. Emissions standards are similar to the original manufacturers standards.
3. No danger in the fit or use of the product.
4. Verifying that stated power and economy figures are accurate and are not misleading.

Diesel Power CR and PD modules have also attained the E-1 certification which verifies that the tested component does not damage or conflict with any other component on the vehicle).
